The Chairman

Rising to the Challenge

Whilst the last couple of years have been challenging for many businesses due to the uncertainties surrounding Covid-19, the logistics sector has been hit particularly hard, with capacity being reduced on numerous cargo routes.

At Gandamar Shwe Pyi, we have taken this as a challenge to double down on our commitment to improving the service delivered to our customers. We have also taken the opportunity to open more logistics hubs and warehouses.

Expanding despite the adversity

In order to accomplish the above, whilst the logistics sector has been struggling, we have actively been expanding our business. It is testament to the hard work of our colleagues that we find ourselves a larger, more efficient and more competitive company.

Bangkok Office

The newly opened GSP office will specialise in interstate haulage services within ASEAN. This will be the door to the rest of the world with Laem Chabang and Bangkok international airport extending our reach to every corner of the globe. Therefore becoming a one-stop solution for our clients, providing: import/export by air and sea, customs brokerage, and transportation on an Ex works, FOB and door to door basis.

The whole team here at GSP strives to deliver our clients a positive, reliable experience in every instance. We aim to fill the gap between our client and their customer ina seamless fashion. We do this with a cumulative management experience of over 100 years in logistics. We endeavor to keep our pricing competitive, whilst going above and beyond with our service levels. Whilst we are proud of what we have achieved thus far, we constantly push to do better.

2013

Gandamar Shwe Pyi is incorporated

GSP provides procurement and logistics services for a wide range of international companies

2017

Freight forwarding division opens – providing full service transportation and logistics management services

2018

First warehouse opens

  • 12000 Square Foot South Dagon township
  • Customs Clearance brought in-house

2019 – 2020

Expansion of warehousing

  • Expansion throughout Yangon and Mandalay – Square foot Yangon 80000 and Mandalay 15000
  • First own fleet of 24 trucks go into operational service

2021 – Present

First overseas office opens in Thailand

  • Inception of cross border services
  • Myawaddy cross border warehouse opens
  • Total number of colleagues now exceeds 150
  • Increment of 20 additional trucks ( Total of 44 trucks into operation )

Okkar Zaw

General Manager

Okkar has a total experience of over 14 years as an industry leader in logistics and supply chain management, both in business and humanitarian sectors.

With a weather of experience and comprehensive knowledge of bot INGO and industry role through roles, througtout Myanmar.

Thirị Thu Thu

General Manager

Over 13 years accounting and financial management experience at international freight forward / logistics companies with more than 2 years logistics supply chain Supervision experience in an INGO environment.

Thiri joined us in 2019 and has quickly testablished herself as an indispensable member of the GSP management team.

Thit Thit Lwin

Customer Service Manager

Thit Thit Lwin has 3 years Trading Experience as operation and 16 years experiences in Logistics industry of Freight Forwarding Service as Customer Service.

The main leading role is supporting to the Customer Service Team / Sales Team and Other cross department together to reach the Organization Goal

Soe Pa Pa Myint

Business Development Manager

She has more than 8 years' experience in the logistics and supply chain industry prior to joining GSP. Soe has risen within GSP to Customer Service Manager and has proven herself to be a key asset in the GSP family.

Mi Khayay Pwint Oo

Clearance Manager

Mi Khayay Pwint Oo has more than 10 years experience in the field of customs clearance prior to joining GSP, and has beeb a valued colleague for 5 years.

Thiri Ko Ko

Sales Manager

Thiri Ko Ko had more than 7 years experience in freight forwarding and logistics, in international firms before joining GSP and has both a customer services and sales management background.

Aung Ko Win

Operations Manager

Aung Ko Win has over 17 years' experience in operations of logistics and construction; locally and internationally. Having over a decade's worth of experience in Singapore, Aung who joined us in 2017, has been instrumental in incorporating western standards of warehouse management into all our sites

Sandar

HR and Admin Manager

Sandar has more than 14 years experience in the field of Human Resource and General Affairs. The main leading role is HR and Admin Manager to reach Organization Goal.
